Renowned playback singer-music director Sonu Nigam Recently took Rajasthan by storm with a strong performance. However, the experience was not entirely pleasant for him as he watched many dignitaries, especially politicians, leave the program midway. After the incident, the corporation has asked the leaders through social media not to behave like this in the future.
After his performance in Rising Rajasthan Incident In Jaipur on Monday, Nigam posted a selfie video on Instagram directly addressing the politicians. He asked not to come to the performance unless he could sit through the entire program. “A lot of good people came for the performance; It was a very prestigious event. Representatives from all over the world came to raise the pride of Rajasthan. The Chief Minister of the state was there, also the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports (Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore). I could not see them all in the dark; But there were a lot of people,” recalled Sonu Nigam.
Nigam added, “I saw that Chief Minister in the middle of the show saab And the rest of the people got up and left. As soon as they left, all the representatives also left. I have a request to all the politicians, if the artists are not respected, what will the outsiders do? In the US or elsewhere, I have never seen a president leave midway through a demonstration. At least they would have informed before leaving. My humble request to all of you, if you have to leave like this, don’t come; Or at least leave before the show starts.”

Sonu Nigam has expressed his disappointment saying such an act is deeply insulting. “It is very insulting to leave the artist’s performance in the middle. This is an insult to Goddess Saraswati. Actually, I didn’t notice you left. But after you did, I received many messages asking me not to do events where politicians get up and leave in the middle. So, my request to you is, if you have to leave, do so before the show starts. not sitting I know you are a great person and busy too.
