Man relaxing in bed with giant python, viral video reacts: ‘Breakfast in bed’ | Trending news

Native to Africa, Asia and Australia, pythons are known for their enormous size and hunting ability. Unlike venomous snakes, pythons kill their prey by wrapping it around themselves and squeezing the animal until it suffocates. Despite their non-venomous nature, pythons are feared by many, a video of a man relaxing with a large python in his bed has taken the internet by storm.

The viral video shows Mike Holtson, popular on the internet as ‘The Real Tarzan’, calmly reading a book in bed with a python and a dog. While sharing the video, he wrote, ‘The best caption wins. Tag your friend.”

The video sparked a debate as many social media users criticized Holtson for trying to tame the reptiles, with over 14 million views. “This is so sweet.. remind me of me and my ex,” one user wrote. “I don’t care how cool that snake looks….he’s always thinking about running a snake,” another user commented.

“Absolutely not!!!! The snake has to go!!” A third user responded. “Boy how is that snake sitting there going to take you both down,” another user commented.

Remarkably, some species, such as the reticulated python, can grow up to 20 feet long and are among the longest snakes on the planet. Despite their remarkable size, pythons are often kept as exotic pets. However, due to their size and dietary requirements they require special care.

Last week, a video of a reticulated python floating in flood waters in Thailand, after eating a dog, was reported. The reptile’s belly swelled and was seen drifting along the submerged road.
