2 Rafale jets enough: Bengal BJP’s warning to Dhaka | Kolkata News

The BJP along with various Hindu organizations staged a demonstration at Ghojadanga in Basirhat in Bangladesh’s bordering North 24 Parganas district on Tuesday over the alleged persecution of religious minorities in the neighboring country.

Leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives, Subendu Adhikari, who led the protest, attacked Bangladesh saying that the situation there is deteriorating. “We are not dependent on Bangladesh. Bangladesh depends on us… If we don’t send 97 products, we won’t get rice and clothes. If electricity generated from Jharkhand is not sent, 80% of the villages will not be lit,” said the BJP MLA.

He also threatened to send Rafale fighter jets and said, “40 Rafale jets are deployed in Hasimara. Sending two planes will only work.”

“Please stop the atrocities, stop vandalizing our temples. On the 16th (of December) we will have a big meeting. (Mohammed) Yunus’s government is not a government, they are extremists. They are fanatics, they are anti-human. They are like the Taliban. Yunus’s The government has removed the legitimate government of Sheikh Hasina…,” he said.

The official expressed confidence that Sheikh Hasina will return as Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

“Sheikh Hasina is a legitimate prime minister. They (Yunus) are illegal. Sheikh Hasina will land at Dhaka Airport as the Prime Minister. They should welcome him with a salute,’ he said.
