Housed in a charming 90-year-old bungalow, Scarlet House presents a unique concept: an all-day café with a specialty coffee program and retail space on the ground floor, complemented by an intimate dining area and an invitation-only cocktail bar. On the upper level like a chalet.
The nutritious menu curated by Chef Bina Noronha (of Gigi fame) evolves throughout the day and includes a special ‘Mall Favorites’ section showcasing Malaika Arora’s favorite dishes. Highlights include baked fish or banh mi stuffed with offal, and her mother Joyce’s famous prawn curry and rice. To complement the food, Fay Baretto has created a selection of cocktails and beverages, while a dedicated water bar offers a range of healthy elixirs designed for stress relief, energy, hair growth and clear skin.
The retail space focuses on supporting local producers, offering products such as millet pasta and protein bars. At night, the space seamlessly transforms into a wine and cheese bar, adding to the venue’s versatile appeal.
The 45-seat restaurant is a collaboration between Arora, his son Arhaan Khan, co-founders Gigi, Eve, Layla — and Dhaval Udeshi, known for co-founding Arhaan’s childhood friend Malaya Nagpal. The team, we learned, is looking forward to taking Scarlet House to different neighborhoods in different formats.
