After days of not being allowed to visit Sambhal, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met family members of those killed in the violence over a court-ordered survey at the Shahi Jama Masjid on Tuesday, November 24. On November 24, four people were killed and several policemen were injured in the clashes in Sambhal. The court had ordered a survey on a petition claiming that there was once a temple on the site of the mosque.
