The Supreme Court on Monday said it will hear AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s pleas seeking relief from bail conditions requiring him to report twice a week to the investigating officer in corruption and money laundering cases related to the Delhi Production Policy.
Senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, appearing for Sisodia, mentioned the matter before a bench of justices BR Gavai and KV Viswanathan.
“Tomorrow day,” the bench said while agreeing to list the case on December 11.
The Supreme Court agreed to hear Sisodia’s plea on November 22 and issued notices to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to seek their reply on the applications.
On August 9, the Supreme Court granted him bail in a corruption and money laundering case linked to the alleged Delhi Excise policy scam, saying that his 17-month jail term without trial denied him the right to a speedy trial.
