The commute to work can be mundane and exhausting. But once you watch this viral video from China, you’ll realize that your commute is a lot better. Showing a man in Chongqing who has to travel down quite literally for his job.
The timelapse video begins with a scene of a man high, and getting ready for the day. Overlay text reads, “How deep does the trip go in Chongqing?”
So, we see people descending endless stairs, passing through residential areas, markets, and bustling streets. And just when you think the man has reached his destination, he says, “Now I’ll take the subway,” and descends another six flights of stairs.
That’s not the end either – he takes another flight of stairs before finally reaching his office. Talk about a commute to new heights…or depths.
