Indian student from Andhra Pradesh dies, 4 injured in car accident in Leicestershire, UK World News

A 32-year-old Indian student, Chiranjeevi Panguluri, died on the spot after his car fell into a ditch in a road accident in Leicestershire, East England.

Four other people in the car, a woman and two men, and the driver were taken to hospital, Leicestershire Police said.

“Chiranjeevi Panguluri, 32, was a passenger in a gray Mazda 3 Tamura, traveling from Leicester towards Market Harborough towards the county, before it left the road and came to rest in a ditch,” Leicestershire Police said in a statement.

It is reported that a 27-year-old man who was detained by the police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released. PTI.

Police added in their statement, “Panguluri, of Leicester, was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers, a woman and two men, the vehicle and the driver were all taken to hospital. The two male passengers remain in hospital with serious injuries which are described as non-life threatening.”

According to a PTI The report mentions that all the four people involved in the incident are from Andhra Pradesh.

Police said they were trying to speak to anyone traveling on the A6 on Tuesday morning who may have witnessed the collision. Police also asked people to check if dash cameras captured any footage related to the collision.
