As his government enters the third year of its last term, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday awarded appointment letters to around 580 newly appointed employees of the state government at a function at Mahatma Mandir, a release from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said. ).
New employees are being recruited in departments like Panchayat, Roads and Buildings; Urban Development and Science and Technology.
“The tradition of good governance started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been carried forward by his government through transparent recruitment and practice of ‘influence’ and ‘recommendation’ has stopped,” the statement quoted the Chief Minister as saying.
The CM also allotted 15 suction machines and 24 desilting machines to 16 municipalities of the state under the Emergency Response Sanitation Unit.
He also unveiled a book titled ‘Two Years of Service, Resolution and Dedication’ to commemorate the tenure of his government and the works done for the benefit of the people.
Later in the day, the CM also interacted with representatives of several Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) at his official residence in Gandhinagar, an official release said.
During the dialogue, the Chief Minister also appealed to the farmers to do community farming through FPO.
