Along with husband and singer Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas received an honorary award at the Red Sea Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The actor impressed fans with his stunning looks on the red carpet, many greeted him on the red carpet with his ‘Dostana’ song ‘Desi Girl’.
At the ceremony, Priyanka was honored by Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker. Many pictures and videos of the event have been shared Fan pages of Priyanka Chopra. Sara has said that it is an honor to present Priyanka with a special award.
In her speech, Priyanka said, ‘Sara, you are an icon for many of us. Thank you for taking the time to say those kind words about me and my work over the years. It meant a lot to me. “
She added, ‘When I started working, I was 18 years old. I come from the Hindi and Telugu speaking industry, basically non-English films. I remember when I was looking for work across the border, and I was told that non-English films would not travel. Yet here we are today.”
“You’ve been able to create a safe, incredible space for filmmakers and storytellers from around the world to come together regardless of nationality, language or borders,” she added.

The actor added, “We know, as working people, and I may be biased, but in one of the best, most incredible industries in the world, we get to play for a living, we get to tell stories for a living, and we dream for a living. And you’ve been able to bring together people across borders, across languages, to celebrate this incredible medium. I feel so grateful to be here and to be on stage to receive this incredible honor.”
Priyanka thanked husband Nick Jonas, late father, family members and people she worked with. “My wonderful husband is here, waiting to take me down, the gentleman that he is. My father was the first entertainer I knew. I lost him in 2013, but he showed me how much joy it is to be the one in the middle of the party. You You know, if there was a crowd, my dad would be in the middle. He showed me how to be innocently entertaining, how to be vulnerable at the same time. We get to do that in our art.” Priyanka said.
