Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday said that Uttarakhand is striving to become the first state in the country to implement a dedicated yoga policy. He said that policies will play an important role in connecting Ayurveda and Yoga in the health sector.
Addressing the 10th Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2024 on Thursday, he said that representatives of 50 countries and more than three thousand experts are participating in the program. The CM asked the AYUSH Ministry to set up an All India Institute of Ayurveda in Uttarakhand. Union Minister of State Prata Prao Jadhav said the production of AYUSH products has increased eight times in a decade. India exports AYUSH and herbal products to 150 countries, he said.
