Diljit Dosanjh has vowed not to perform in India until the infrastructure is improved

Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has announced that he will not hold concerts in India until the infrastructure for live concerts is improved. The announcement came during his tenure Dil-luminati concert in Chandigarh on December 14, where he expressed his concern over the lack of proper facilities for a live show.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, Diljit said in Punjabi, ‘We don’t have infrastructure for live shows here. It generates a lot of revenue and provides work for a lot of people… I’ll try to put the stage in the center next time so you can be around it. Until that happens, I won’t be doing shows in India, that’s for sure.

Diljit’s Chandigarh show was dedicated to India’s new International Chess Federation (FIDE) World Champion, Gukesh Dommaraju. He praised Gukesh’s dedication and hard work and encouraged the audience to face the challenge.
